Red Suspenders

Red Suspenders

1990 - Webster - 32” - 11” - Mid - UF/Crispate - Tetraploid - Dormant - Fragrant - Diurnal - sdlg # TRS-7113 - Bright red spider self with green chartreuse throat.

Red Suspenders is a beautiful red unusual form flower. The plant is senescent (dormant) and has attractive foliage. The flowers are large and impressive and it is the ancestor of several very large, impressive unusual form tetraploids. The scapes are moderately tall and well formed, holding up the large flowers very well.

The plant has been fertile both ways for me. It has shown rust resistance in my garden. I have several reports of it being resistant in several other gardens. It has also produced resistant seedlings for me.
