Rainbow Candy

Rainbow Candy

Stamile – 1996 – (Blueberry Candy x Tetra Little Print) – Tet – 28” – 4” – Very Frag – Dorm – Re – Ext – Cream with purple lavender gray and yellow eyezone above a green throat

This beautiful little flower is on a nice little plant. The foliage is pretty. It is senescent, for the most part, with just a bit of foliage remaining above ground in the winter in my garden.  It has moderately fast increase.

The flower is pretty, with a radiating pattern of lavender rays on a burgundy eye. The petals are cream colored with a slight golden edge and a green throat that flows out to yellow.
The plant is fertile both ways in my garden. Rainbow Candy shows moderately high rust resistance in my garden, with some breeding value for resistance when bred to more resistant plants. It is said to be resistant in many gardens and has a high rating in some evaluation listings.
